Hirohide is a co-founder of Soliton Capital Management. He is an expert in investments and corporate turnarounds. While working for Aetos Japan LLC and Octo Force Management, he served as corporate director or CEO of many companies in their investment portfolios, such as golf courses, hotels, real-estate and food companies, leading them all to successful turnarounds.
His 27 years in the industry also include experience in and knowledge of treasury and accounting, investor relations, fund operations, and back and middle offices. He started his career at Takenaka Partners, working in M&A advisory, following which he held positions in Premia Servicer, Millennium Servicer (currently, MC Group) and Capital Servicing. In addition to a B.A. in Law from Chuo University, he’s also a Certified Turnaround Manager – Financial Official Approval Association, and a qualified US CPA.

Yuchi is a co-founder of Soliton Capital Management and a co-founder of Kagayaki Co., Ltd., a consulting firm specialized in SMEs. With 34 years of experience in various companies, such as Hiroshima Bank, Capital Servicing and law firms, he’s an expert on loan recovery.
Besides his B.A. in Law from Chuo University, he is also a qualified Administrative Scrivener, a licensed Chief of Money Lending Operations and a Certified Turnaround Manager by the Financial Official Approval Association.
Additionally, his experience also includes consulting for various industries such as construction, hospitality, IT, food service, healthcare, and manufacturing, among others. Yuichi has a vast network of specialists all over Japan with knowledge of virtually all industries in Japan.
1986年 広島銀行入行。支店勤務を経て、1993年、融資第二部に着任。不良債権を中心とした審査業務、管理回収業務、債権流動化業務、アレンジャー業務に従事後、しまなみ債権回収㈱の設立に参画

Kenji is a co-founder of Soliton Capital Management. He has 21 years of experience in the investment industry, and his expertise in credit includes analysis, due diligence, investing in high yield and distressed debt, private equities, corporate, project and asset finance (shipping, renewables, receivables etc.), as well as structured finance deals.
Having worked in companies such as Japan Post Bank, S&P Global, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Securities, and Lehman Brothers, where he also has acquired practical knowledge of and experience in restructuring debt, including complex shipping-financing loans.
He has a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Rikkyo University, and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University, in addition to being a qualified Chief of Money Lending Operations.

Masaaki has over 42 years of experience in banking and consulting. He is also a founder and CEO of Financial Training Support Co., Ltd and Senior Advisor to Kagayaki Co., Ltd..
He started his career with Hiroshima Bank, where he dealt the Ministry Finance’s Corporate Planning Division. He was then seconded to The Resolution and Collection Corporation. Returning to Hiroshima Bank, he led the rating-based risk management in the Risk Management Division and, later, developed a loan-officer training program for the Loan Planning Division, training many classes of new loan officers.
Currently, he is extensively involved as training instructor or lecturer at various conferences organized by the Regional Bank Association of Japan, The National Association of Shinkin Banks, Kinzai Institute of Financial Affairs, Inc., Japan Federation of Credit Guarantee Corporations, and Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry – Office of Intellectual Property Protection, Individual Banks, among others.
He has a B.A. in Economics from Keio University, and is the Chair of Examination at the Financial Official Approval Association (Credit Management and Business Evaluation), in addition to being an official member of the Japanese Association of Turnaround Professionals
